A lot of times I find that the affiliates take the easy way out and they just import what every is available and sometimes this puts in broken code such as divs. Is there a way to strip this out on import.
Sure - in your Price Tapestry /admin/ area you could go to Global Filters and then add a Strip HTML filter to the Description field. Bear in mind that filters are only applied at import time so after adding the filter re-import all feeds to observe the changes.
