Product Mapping whit EAN code

Hello David

I try to Product Mapping whit EAN code by hand is that possible so instead of the Product name i want to do that with the ean code? ( in the ADMIN product mapping)

Can't find that in the forum

Hi Peter,

If you have EAN values available in your feeds you can use Automatic Product Mapping by Unique ID...

Hello David,

Maybe i don't understand it, but i make a page about a product and normaly i put in this shortcode
[pto prices="Product Name"] but i want [pto prices="EAN code"] to make sure that i compare 100% the good product or must i use a other shortcode

Hi Peter,

Automatic Mapping by Unique ID is applied at import time (just like regular Product Mapping) so after that, all products with the same EAN code will have the same name, so you can just use the regular [pto prices="Product Name"] shortcode. In order to ensure that the same name is used each time the process runs, the name chosen is the first alphabetically.
