I have installed price tapestry and the wordpress plugin to my site {link saved} and everything seems to work fine except I cant get the theme to work. It shows the pt search and links but this is all. How can I get my theme to show?
All that's happened I think is that Price Tapestry has been installed into the same folder as your WordPress installation - that's all.
The only file that conflicts is index.php so if you restore the WordPress version of that file your WordPress installation / theme will then be displayed.
Strictly speaking, there's no need to actually move the Price Tapestry files into a sub-directory (e.g. /pt/), they won't do any harm being in the top level directory, and on the PriceTapestry.org settings page (/wp-admin > Settings > PriceTapestry.org) simply use your main site URL as the Base HREF (under External settings) and the value for Install Path you will find at /admin/ > Support Info
