Hi Henk,

Could you post a link to the Google+ plugin that you're using and I'll see what variable / API function it is using to generate the page URL - it's nothing to do with canonical (which is correct) or the page header - but as a generic solution it should be possible to hook into the WordPress function that returns the page URL so that the PriceTapestry.org virutal pages will return the correct URL for this and other plugins that access the page URL in the same way...

Thanks!

David.

Hi David,

Ok here is wrong one: {link saved}

On the left menu there is a little page tag bar, and under the posts Google plus link.

When you press the tag page the link is ok, but when you go to another page and try go to tag you will go to:

{link saved}

Thats the same with the google plus link always go to:

{link saved}

Its only from the [pt] installation ( not the posts with the other short codes ) , does it have to do with the loop function of wp?

Thx
Henk

Ah Sorry Henk,

I meant a link to the actual WordPress plugin you are using to show the Google+ link, so I can look at the code it is using to get the page URL...

As there are many social media plugins for WordPress I wanted to make sure that I look at the right one...

Thanks!

Cheers,
David.

Thanks Henk,

I'll check it out on my test server first thing - it's not related to the sidebar filters not working in left hand widget area (which is because they are rendered before the search code has executed and generated the variables upon which the filters rely) but I have a fix for this which I intend to include in a pending update to PriceTapestry.org for WordPress (next priority after Joomla version launch this week) however I can send you a patch for that in reply to your email...

I'll follow up in reply to your email...

Cheers,
David.
