i wonder why its not possible to display products automatically as regular posts.
this would benefit the whole power of wp. simultaneously it would solve the problem with
widgets.
That's quite a different application i'm afraid - the purpose of the plugin is to be able to use Price Tapestry seamlessly within a WordPress installation rather than to import products into WordPress. However that doesn't take away from the powerful application of the shortcode inclusions where you are concentrating on creating unique, custom content for a custom product page (which you would manually create as a post) and then pull in the price comparison table using [pto prices="Product Name"]...
