Google error - Either “name” or “item.name” should be specified

Hi David,

I have started getting a few Google search console errors relating to the "Merchant" pages;

"Either “name” or “item.name” should be specified"

Not sure if it could also relate to "Category" and "Brand" pages.

Error Details:
type - BreadcrumbList
id - https://example.com/shopping#breadcrumb
itemListElement
type - ListItem
position - 1
name - Home
item
type - Thing
id - https://example.com/
itemListElement
Either "name" or "item.name" should be specified
type - ListItem
position - 2

Any solution to prevent these error's ?

Regards,
Graham

Hi Graham,

If you can locate the code could you confirm the changes made to add the schema meta data to the page - most likely changes applied to pto_search.php; if you're not sure you could email me any modified files and I'll take a look for you...

Cheers,
David.
