Hi Andrew,

Whilst the search module of the plugin contains the filter variables I'm currently working out as part of the beta the best way to incorporate filters into the plugin, I know that several users are keen to implement this but I don't want to include it in the distribution for performance reasons as it's not really suitable for non-niche installation;

I'll post updates regarding an equivalent of the sidebar filters mod and API modules once the plugin is at version 1...

Cheers,
David.

Hi David

How do you move the filter to the left hand side of the page?

Thank you
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

The filters are displayed as a widget so would need to be displayed within a Widget area; which are defined by your theme. Many column based themes have left / right widget areas but not all may be enabled - go to wp-admin > Appearance > Themes and check the theme settings and you may be able to enable a left-hand column widget area; to which you can then add the Search Filters widget...

Cheers,
David.
