The links for one of my merchant are not working, I used the slow import tool and it went from 32k to 19k products. Please tell me what I should do next.
Whenever Buy URLs for an imported feed are not working, the first thing to do is to disable tracking by setting $config_useTracking back to FALSE at line 12 in config.php of your Price Tapestry installation. Then go to view a product page from that merchant's feed and right-click on the Visit Store link and COPY the Buy URL to your clipboard. If all looks OK, PASTE the link into a new tab / browser window and see whether the link works normally; however if the structure doesn't look quite right it's possible that feed did not import correctly. The most likely reason is that quoted text was not auto-detected. On Feed Registration Step 1, rather than accept the auto-deteceted format, instead select the correct format for the feed from the drop-down box. On Feed Registration Step 2, verify in the sample data shown in the table the Buy URL is displayed correctly...
Regarding slow import; it will always show the previously imported number as part of the progress output; but the total imported may well be less than that once completed, for example if the merchant has dropped a number of products. Incorrect auto-detection of the format could also cause the number to change considerably each time the feed is updated...
