Products Not Updating

To test the new feeds were working when I added them I did trial imports on them. When they updated overnight the full versions were all downloaded fine, which I can see in the PT admin area. However, when I navigate my site today each merchant says there are only 10 products available. I did accidentally import all for the first merchant when I was adding the new feeds at {link saved}, but all of the rest have had a trial import. Not sure why they are still only displaying the trial import products. I tried refreshing the pages in the browser and even using another browser but to no avail.

Hi Steve,

From /pt/admin/ home page buttons are highlighted in green if action is required - you mentioned that the feeds all downloaded fine so that should imply that the Modified date / time has been updated for all feeds consistent with when your cronjob was scheduled to run - but what is the status of the Import buttons (for the feeds that you've haven't imported manually) - are they blue or green, and does the Imported date / time also tally with when your cronjob was scheduled to run?

(I assume that you have scheduled a cronjob to run scripts/cron.php as per the Option 1 derived command from Setup > CRON...)

All buttons in both Automation Tool and Admin Home are blue.

For instance: a-t-cross.xml
Modified: 2018-02-20 06:00:03
Imported: 2018-02-20 06:00:46
Products: 248

That is what the PT Admin Home page says, yet if you click on {link saved} to go to the A. T. Cross merchant page you'll see that only the trial imported 10 products are shown and not the 248 PT now says it has downloaded.

Since it updated again last night, all products appear to have been added now. Rather strange, but seems to be working OK now.

Hi Steve,

If you are using a caching plugin that might the reason - if you see discrepancies happen again try temporarily disabling caching to confirm if that's the case...
