Dedicated Wordpress Install

Hi David

I've finally got around to trying out this new feature and was quite impressed with how simple it was to set up.
However, as I already a use a highly modified PT installation that works well for me I wonder whether it's worth the trouble of adding another complication - albeit a minor one - just for a bit of added functionality?

Thinking about it further I started to wonder if having a second dedicated wordpress installation working alongside my existing content site would offer a lot more flexibility.
So far as I can see the only disadvantage is the actual bother of setting it up. Am I right?

Cheers

Darren

Hi Darren,

As long as you can install WordPress into the same database that your customised Price Tapestry installation is using the plugin should work fine - it's backwards compatible with all database versions of Price Tapestry since 11/09A...

Cheers,
David.

Cheers David, I was thinking of starting with a fresh install on a new project so this wouldn't be an issue.
I'll start working on a small test site first though.

Thanks
